Initial Oxidation Behavior of TP439 Stainless Steel in High-Temperature Steam at 800 °C
TP439 is a ferritic stainless steel with high chromium content and stabilizing titanium, and it is widely used as tubing material for high-pressure heaters in nuclear power plants due to its excellent overall mechanical properties, resistance to intergranular corrosion, low coefficient of thermal expansion, and high thermal conductivity. The typical service environment is high-temperature, high-pressure steam, in which oxidation is one of the primary mechanisms leading to failure, such as leakage.

Application Sharing of Joule-Heating Rapid Sintering Furnace: Synthesis of Multi-Principal-Element Intermetallic Compound Nanoparticles via Disorder–Order Transformation
A research group led by Professor Liangbing Hu at the University of Maryland has published a paper in Science Advances. The core of this study is the proposal of a disorder–order phase-transition strategy, which enabled the successful synthesis of multi-principal-element intermetallic compound (MPEI) nanoparticles. This breakthrough overcomes the limitations of conventional synthesis methods and paves new avenues for the research and application of related materials.

Introduction to the Application Fields of a 1200°C High-Temperature Muffle Furnace
🔬 Research and Laboratory Applications Materials Science Research: Used for sintering, melting, and crystallization experiments on ceramics, glasses, and metallic materials—for example, the preparation of novel ceramic matrix composites or studies of phase transformations in metal alloys. A temperature of 1200°C is sufficient to meet the basic research needs for most conventional inorganic materials. Chemical Analysis and Testing: In the ashing pretreatment of samples such as ores and soils, high temperatures are employed to remove organic matter and volatile components, thereby providing clean, analyzable samples for subsequent compositional analyses, including X-ray fluorescence spectroscopy and atomic absorption spectroscopy. University Teaching Laboratories: In experimental courses for majors such as materials science, chemistry, and geology, this equipment serves as a fundamental high-temperature laboratory instrument, enabling students to gain a direct understanding of material transformations and chemical reaction processes under high-temperature conditions.
Key Considerations for Selecting a 1200°C High-Temperature Muffle Furnace in Various Applications
The Tianjin Zhonghuan 1,200°C high-temperature muffle furnace is ideal for cutting-edge scientific research and precision materials synthesis, offering exceptional temperature control accuracy, durability, and customization capabilities.
