The following is a three-day After-Sales Service Week event held at the School of Materials Science and Engineering of Lanzhou University of Technology.

September 15–17, 2025: Central Electric Furnace at the School of Materials Science and Engineering, Lanzhou University of Technology A three-day After-Sales Service Week for Central Electric Furnaces was held, during which our after-sales engineers conducted a comprehensive inspection, repair, and maintenance of the institute’s laboratory electric furnaces, identifying and rectifying issues that had arisen during equipment operation. Special attention was given to older units in service for 10 years or more, with focused checks for operational malfunctions and safety hazards. For issues such as loose or jammed components, as well as wear and tear on power cord sheaths, the after-sales team addressed these problems on the spot by performing repairs and reinforcing the protective measures for the power cords. When electrical components were found to be aged or damaged, they were replaced; and for cases where the aging of electrical components was severe, the team recommended scrapping the equipment after thorough testing. Scrapped equipment was duly registered and reported to expedite the disposal process, thereby ensuring the safe and reliable operation of all laboratory equipment.

 
 

During this event, the maintenance personnel from Zhonghuan Electric Furnace provided a comprehensive briefing on the proper and safe operation of the equipment to ensure that laboratory personnel can use it correctly and safely. The briefing covered the equipment’s basic structure, safety operating procedures, demonstration of the operational workflow, fault identification and troubleshooting, key points for daily maintenance, emergency response measures, operational precautions, as well as a Q&A and interactive session.
