Central After-Sales Service Week

Location: Lianhua Campus, Kunming University of Science and Technology

To better support the teaching and research activities of universities, Tianjin Zhonghuan Electric Furnace Co., Ltd. has organized a specialized technical team to conduct a week-long after-sales service program at several institutions, providing maintenance and repair services for laboratory instruments and equipment such as tube furnaces and box furnaces—regardless of brand. The following is a report on the safety-focused after-sales service event held in June of this year in the lobby on the first floor of the School of Materials at Kunming University of Science and Technology.

Event Venue

During this event, the Zhonghuan After-Sales Service Team conducted free inspections of all laboratory equipment, including box-type furnaces and tube furnaces, identifying and rectifying any issues that had arisen during operation. Special attention was given to older equipment in service for 10 years or more, with a focused review to detect operational faults and safety hazards. For issues such as loose or jammed components, worn power cord sheathing, and other potential risks, after-sales technicians not only identified the problems but also carried out immediate repairs and reinforced protective measures for the power cords. When equipment components were found to be aged or damaged, they were replaced; and for cases where electrical components had severely deteriorated, the team recommended scrapping the equipment following thorough testing. Scrapped equipment was duly registered and reported to expedite the disposal process, thereby ensuring the safe and reliable operation of all laboratory equipment.

In addition, the maintenance personnel of the central electric furnace conducted training on the daily maintenance procedures for the equipment to ensure that students can operate it correctly and safely. The training covered the equipment’s basic structure, safety operating procedures, demonstration of operational workflows, fault identification and troubleshooting, key points for routine maintenance, emergency response measures, operational precautions, as well as a Q&A and interactive session.
