Paper Award—Warm Congratulations to Professor Dan Yingchun’s Team at Dalian Maritime University for Publishing a Paper in an International Journal Using Our Company’s Joule-Heating Rapid Sintering Furnace

Professor Shan Yingchun is currently a professor in the Department of Materials Science and Engineering, School of Transportation Engineering at Dalian Maritime University, and a doctoral supervisor. She also serves as a member of the Council of the Engineering Ceramics Professional Committee of the Chinese Society of Mechanical Engineering. Her research primarily focuses on the development of structure–function integrated transparent ceramics, and she has achieved notable results in the synthesis of AlON powders and the rapid sintering of their corresponding transparent ceramics. She has served as principal investigator or key participant in 14 research projects, including those funded by the National Natural Science Foundation of China, the Key R&D Program of the Ministry of Science and Technology, and the Pre-research Program for Equipment Development. To date, she has published more than 80 academic papers and been granted 25 authorized invention patents.

  In this paper, a combination of ultra-rapid high-temperature sintering and conventional sintering methods was employed to successfully fabricate—in 350–4900 nm Transmittance ≥ over a broad wavelength range 80% High transparency AlON Ceramics.
