Instructions for Use and Precautions for Vacuum Drying Ovens

2019-11-20

Vacuum Drying Oven The summary of usage and precautions is as follows:
  1. Large drying ovens shall be installed in a dry, level indoor location to prevent vibration and corrosion.
  2. Ensure electrical safety by installing a power switch with sufficient rating based on the oven’s power consumption. Use adequately sized power cables and provide a reliable grounding connection.
  3. Only after all preparatory work has been completed may the test specimen be placed inside the oven; then connect the power supply and turn it on. The illumination of the red indicator light signifies that the oven has begun heating. When the temperature reaches the set value, the red light will extinguish and the green light will illuminate, indicating that constant-temperature operation has commenced. To prevent thermostat failure, continuous monitoring is also required.
  4. When placing test specimens, ensure they are not packed too closely together. Do not place specimens directly on the heat sink to avoid obstructing the upward flow of hot air. It is strictly prohibited to bake flammable, explosive, volatile, or corrosive materials.
  5. For large drying ovens equipped with a mercury thermometer-type temperature controller with electrical contacts, the two leads of the contact thermometer shall be connected respectively to the two terminal posts on the top of the oven.
  6. Insert a standard thermometer into the vent valve (the thermometer in the vent valve is used to calibrate the electrical contact thermometer and to monitor the actual temperature inside the chamber), then open the vent valve port.
  7. After adjusting the electrical contact thermometer to the desired temperature, tighten the screw on the steel cap to maintain a constant temperature. However, be sure not to turn the indicator dial beyond the scale markings during adjustment.
Vacuum Drying Oven Performance characteristics:
  1. Features both timer and stopwatch functions;
  2. The temperature control sensor uses original imported capacitive components.
  3. The inner liner is made of mirror-finish stainless steel; the semi-circular corners are easy to clean.
  4. The shelves inside the workroom can be adjusted in height and number according to user requirements.
  5. A well-designed air duct and circulation system ensures minimal temperature non-uniformity within the chamber.
  6. Adopts a domestically developed streamlined arc-shaped design; the enclosure is fabricated from cold-rolled steel sheet and features an electrostatic powder-coated surface.
  7. This unit’s temperature control system employs microcomputer single-chip technology for temperature regulation, timing, and over-temperature alarm.
  8. Features a dual-screen, high-brightness digital display for accurate and intuitive readings, superior performance, and touch-sensitive buttons for setting and adjusting parameters.
  9. Equipped with imported motors and fan blades, the system features minimal air circulation, eliminating users’ concerns about fine or powdered materials being blown away during cultivation.
  10. The cabinet door is equipped with large-view, insulated tempered glass for easy observation, and incorporates nano-material door seals and insulation materials to deliver superior overall performance.
