Technical and Application Guide for High-Temperature Box-Type Resistance Furnaces
High-temperature box-type resistance furnaces are among the most important pieces of equipment in the industrial heat-treatment sector, with widespread applications in industries such as ceramics, metallurgy, electronics, and chemicals. Owing to their high efficiency, operational stability, and ease of use, these furnaces have become indispensable heating equipment in modern industry.
10
As a common heating device, what fields is the box-type electric furnace widely used in?
A box-type electric furnace is a heating device that uses electricity as its energy source, characterized by its compact size, portability, and simple operation. It is widely used in various fields, including hotels, the food service industry, laboratories, industrial applications, and the metallurgical sector.
In which fields can the visualized high-temperature deformation analyzer be applied?
The Visual High-Temperature Deformation Analyzer is an experimental instrument designed to observe and analyze the deformation behavior of materials under high-temperature conditions. It employs a self-developed optical imaging technology, coupled with intelligent data acquisition and image-processing software, enabling real-time observation and measurement of material deformation during high-temperature exposure, as well as analysis of sample dimensional changes.

Overview of Atmosphere Furnace Technology and Applications, Shared by an Atmosphere Tube Furnace Manufacturer
An atmosphere furnace is a heat-treatment device that achieves specific process objectives by controlling the composition of the furnace atmosphere under high-temperature conditions. Its defining feature is the creation of a tailored atmospheric environment within the furnace—such as reducing, oxidizing, nitriding, or carburizing atmospheres—to meet the diverse requirements of material processing. Atmosphere furnaces are widely used in metal smelting, ceramic production, new-material research and development, and other fields.
What are the application areas of tubular electric furnaces?
Tube-type electric furnaces are highly efficient, environmentally friendly heat-treatment equipment widely used across various industries. Thanks to their unique heating method and high energy efficiency, they find extensive applications in numerous fields. The following outlines the primary application areas of tube-type electric furnaces.
08
How should a box-type electric furnace be properly maintained? What are the methods?
Muffle furnaces in China are commonly referred to as resistance furnaces, electric furnaces, or muffle furnaces. A muffle furnace is a versatile heating device. Based on their external configuration, they can be classified into box-type furnaces, tube-type furnaces, and crucible furnaces. 1. To ensure measurement accuracy, the temperature indicator of the XMT-type temperature controller should be calibrated annually using a DC potentiometer to prevent significant errors. 2. The instrument should be placed in a dry, well-ventilated area free from corrosive gases, with an operating ambient temperature not exceeding 1050°C and a relative humidity no greater than 85%.

Structure and Operating Principle of High-Temperature Tube Furnaces
Working principle of a high-temperature tubular electric furnace: The thermocouple converts the furnace temperature into a voltage signal, which is then applied to the microcomputer-based temperature control regulator. The regulator compares this signal with the programmed setpoint and outputs an adjustable control signal. This adjustable signal subsequently controls the trigger circuit, which in turn triggers the voltage regulator, thereby regulating the furnace voltage and, consequently, the furnace temperature.
Common Troubleshooting Methods for Tube-Type Electric Furnaces
Tube-type electric furnaces are used for testing and inspection in fields such as refractory materials, electronics, ceramics, metallurgy, machinery, building materials, special materials, and new material development. Operating principle: A thermocouple converts the furnace temperature into a voltage signal, which is then applied to a microcomputer-based temperature control regulator. The regulator compares this signal with the programmed setpoint and outputs an adjustable control signal. This adjustable signal is then used to drive a trigger circuit, which in turn activates a voltage regulator, thereby adjusting the furnace voltage and, consequently, the furnace temperature.
